Joshua Chapters 3 and 4 - Septuaginta (LXX Greek text)
This is the first example we've published where the Greek LXX text is reproduced in an interactive presentation. The structure is identical to that of the version I just published that features the English text from the NASB. (Thematic Symmetry of Joshua Chapters 3 and 4) The Author's encoding exists in the original languages of the manuscripts. This native encoding transmits from the Hebrew into the English, from the Hebrew into the Greek, and from the Hebrew through the Greek into the English. In the New Testament, the symmetrical structures are encoded into the native Greek and these transmit also through translations. The Author has magnified His Word, and what a joy and privilege it is to be able to worship Him in spirit and in truth!
I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. ~ Psalm 138:2 (English Standard Version)
Most of these kinds of interactive presentations have been published in English as from the NASB version. That rendering is as customarily translated from the Hebrew (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament). As we have explored variations from that custom, the following examples have been published.
Blessings in Y'shua!
