Built on the Rock or Sand?

In this season I see many saints struggling, and stumbling, having failed to prepare themselves adequately. How will we fare when the greater season of trial breaks upon us? Many of us have squandered this season that has been granted to us by much mercy and grace.

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” 28 When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching; 29 for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes. ~ Matthew 7:24-29

To hear these words of His and not act on them is to build your house upon the sand. Folks, such a flood is coming that will test our foundations. By all accounts, as I've been reporting, in a little less than 2 months time, we're due. I believe one reason why folks are failing already is because of what's called to our attention in verse 28, the matter of the crowds being amazed at his manner of teaching, as one with authority. Today, crowds accustomed to hearing our current versions of the scribes are still amazed when someone speaks with the Lord's authority. Being amazed is a noting of the difference, but that response does not indicate that faith is involved. The houses that have been built upon the sand that will soon fall have been built by those among us who hear His words, but yet do not act on them. If this is you, odds are, you won't even realize it. As I've written, based upon the principles of the Keys to Developing a Hearing Ear, when you hear and don't act on what is heard you are diminished in faith, suffering a reduction in the ability to hear, and you will not perceive it.

Aaron and I have been bearing witness to what's coming, and calling you to repentance, collectively and individually as we have ministered through more personal communications. Some of you respond with an evident building upon the Rock, and this is most encouraging, and others reveal the sand your house has been built upon.

I posted video today that was inspired by the strong sense of how destruction is looming ahead for many of us, and what was revealed for us to the Apostle Peter. He wrote the following about our brother Paul's writing.

15 and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. ~ 2 Peter 3:15-16

Most saints disrespect the word delivered through those sent to minister among them today, as with sound teaching about how to build your foundation upon the written Word. I've given attention to the matter before, and much of it has fallen on deaf ears. (Bible Code Revelations - Thematic Patterns Expose Riddles) I do it again, knowing it will mostly fall on deaf ears. The appointed watch day in 2008, which was so epic for the learning of the key pattern identifying to me that this is the target Shemitah for the close of the age, was spent almost entirely in John 13, in the study of thematic patterns. It was time spent with the Lord, and well spent.

I pray you will find in this presentation some inspiration to seek the Lord about your own attitude toward his Word, your respect for His authority, your action on what is heard and your state of readiness for what is ahead.

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? ~ 2 Corinthians 13:5
