The Debt of Love

It's evident to us that we continue to be made dependent upon your support of this work. Frankly, most folks who can support us never will. Most who have supported us (and still want to) no longer can, or only in a diminished capacity. Can you, will you help? Education isn't cheap and a good education is worth a lot.

You may have noticed that we're still avoiding making side deals to fund our efforts, with no sales of materials, ads, partners, Patreon tiers or promotions favoring donors over non-donors, etc. However, we do have a special incentive program.

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-- pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. ~ Luke 6:38

This is a sure promise! It should be noted that nowhere is it suggested that returns on your sparing or generous investments are going to be apples for apples. Yet, it is our confident testimony that the Lord is faithful - and good beyond our ability to conceive it!

Do you tip? You know, gratuities - your waiters, baristas, manicurist, barber, the pizza dude... Like what we're serving up here? When you visit - hey - find the tip jar and show us how much you appreciate what we do.

For those who are here for the ministering of the Word of God, well, there is a matter of obligation that falls to all of us:

6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches [him]. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. ~ Galatians 6:6-10

We know this appeal will mostly fall on deaf ears, like our other appeals. Most will continue to act like everything on the Internet is free, but somebody has paid for everything. Those who have carried the burden will have their reward.

We consider what we offer to be priceless, and we continue to be so grateful for all the the help we have had in this epic adventure of learning and sharing. Let us labor together and inspire each other as we fulfill our mutual debt of love.

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. ~ Romans 13:8
