In this video: The other day I was reading Romans 11 again, and given all the attention on who Israel actually is, that I've found recently, I figured it was probably well worthwhile to kind of review this for some, but really to try to penetrate the obscurity with the identification, especially with regard to Christianity. So who is Israel?
Well, you know, Trump has been abusive toward Benjamin Netanyahu lately, and that's gotten a lot of news, and it causes real issues for some people because they believe that Trump is God's agent, and they see Israel, the nation, as a nation, as representative of Israel, all of God's people, God's chosen people. And how accurate is that? And where do we stand, or where should we stand, or what is the position that the Bible appears to present? So let's identify Israel, shall we?

Esau stole our birthright: Ezekiel 35.10.
ReplyDeleteHi Bob, thank you Our home bible study group for this study. Our home bible study group is currently discussing the Book of Revelation and we are stuck on who is the Synagogue of Satan? Are those who call themselves Jews in Israel the seed of Abraham? Would Christ recognize the people of Israel as his or as you say they are blinded.?
ReplyDeleteThere are some of us in the group who believe we should do all we can to support Israel. IE send money, pray that they destroy their enemies, support whatever Trump does to help them including sending weapons, money etc. I myself and others believe we are to leave it to the Lord and simply pray for the scales to be removed from their eyes and they repent and believe in the one and only that can save their souls. How do we resolve our differences? Thank you for your time.
