The Lord Sees Our Struggles and He Shall Not Fail Us!

By Aaron Hermann ( Revelation of Babylon blog )

We are living in trying times and it seems that with each passing day things become a bit tougher, the spiritual headwind seems to increase in intensity, and the spiritual darkness that has enveloped the world seems to snuff out a bit more of the light. Many of us find ourselves going through an extended period of intense trials and tribulations. The hour is late and the Lord is continuing His work of testing and refining of His people in preparation for what lies ahead, and some of us will need all that He has brought to us during this preparatory, "frying pan", season as the appointed time comes and the "fire season" begins.

I know that many of us are suffering. The Lord has a seemingly infinite number of tools in His toolbox that He uses to mold, sculpt, and transform us into what He intends us to be. Regardless of what particular means the Lord employs to accomplish His work the common thread is that of suffering and affliction. However, as the Word of my God tells us, bearing up to the suffering now will bring about great glory for those who endure to the end with patient perseverance:

6 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, [i]in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. 24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
~ Romans 8: 16-25

What are we to do when we find ourselves in the midst of trial and suffering that seems to be too much to bear?

2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. ~ James 1:2-4

Consider it all joy? Really? Yes, really. Rejoice in your suffering and draw near to the Lord for He is doing a mighty work in His people in this late hour. He has a plan and it has worked, it is working, and it will work until all that He intends comes to pass.

The Lord gave me a word yesterday I believe He wanted me to share with you. As I was about to step into the shower I heard:

"Tell my people I see their struggles. I shall not fail them."

I sought the Lord late last night for confirmation on the Word and He took me through the following scriptures that were a much-needed source of refreshment and nourishment to my spirit. I do believe that for those of you for whom this message is intended it will have a similar benefit.

7 The Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings. 8 So I have come down to deliver them from the [e]power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. 9 Now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them. ~ Exodus 3:7-9

145 I will extol You, my God, O King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
2 Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised,
And His greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
5 On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
6 Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts,
And I will tell of Your greatness.
7 They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness
And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.
8 The Lord is gracious and merciful;
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
9 The Lord is good to all,
And His mercies are over all His works.
10 All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord,
And Your godly ones shall bless You.
11 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom
And talk of Your power;
12 To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts
And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
14 The Lord sustains all who fall
And raises up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all look to You,
And You give them their food in due time.
16 You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways
And kind in all His deeds.
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry and will save them.
20 The Lord keeps all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.

21 My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord,
And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.
~ Psalm 145

6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”

7 Then Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance. 8 The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
~ Deuteronomy 31:6-8

20 Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished. ~ 1 Chronicles 28:20

“Gather yourselves and come;
Draw near together, you fugitives of the nations;
They have no knowledge,
Who carry about their wooden idol
And pray to a god who cannot save.
21 “Declare and set forth your case;
Indeed, let them consult together.
Who has announced this from of old?
Who has long since declared it?
Is it not I, the Lord?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A righteous God and a Savior;
There is none except Me.
22 “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth;
For I am God, and there is no other.
23 “I have sworn by Myself,
The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness
And will not turn back,
That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.
24 “They will say of Me, ‘Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.’
Men will come to Him,
And all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.
25 “In the Lord all the offspring of Israel
Will be justified and will glory.”
~ Isaiah 45:20-25

There is no doubt that things are hard and will only get harder. One does not have to look far to see that darkness continues to fall. Do not get distracted by the suffering and the darkness, but instead fix your eyes and your faith on He who provides the light of the Truth and the love that transcends all that would drag us down. Do not lose hope dear brothers and sisters, for the True Sovereign God, my God, has everything under control and He will not fail His people!

Whenever you feel that the suffering is becoming too much to bear, the world has become too dark, and you are tempted to think that all is lost I urge you remember that this too shall pass as our suffering here is temporary and soon all of our troubles will be over.

16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

In closing, I would like to leave you with this Word:

11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. 13 Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
~ Ephesians 3:14-20

Paul's beautiful prayer is my prayer for us all in this late hour. My God is so good!
